What Sober Pilots is

Sober Pilots is a quote marketplace. We pass survey requests to qualified drone pilots and pass their quotes back. We are not a contractor, we do not carry out surveys, and any contract for work is between you and the pilot you hire.

For quote-seekers

• Posting a request is free and creates no obligation to hire anyone.
• Quotes are the pilot's own — their price, their scope, their responsibility.
• We verify each pilot's CAA Operator ID and public liability insurance before they can quote. Verify anything else that matters to your job directly with the pilot before contracting.
• Submit honest, lawful requests. We remove abusive or fake ones.

For pilots

• Leads are bought with credits; a lead is sold to a maximum of 4 pilots. Credit pricing, refund windows and account terms are set out in full in the pilot portal.
• You must hold and maintain the qualifications and insurance you were verified with. Lapsed credentials mean delisting until re-verified.
• You quote in your own name and contract directly with the seeker.

Liability

We provide the introduction service with reasonable care, but we are not liable for the performance of any survey, the accuracy of any quote, or any agreement made between seekers and pilots. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
